Siem Reap Countryside by Army Jeep is a shared, join-in tour. The morning tour lasts approximately 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours and the afternoon tour lasts approximately 3 hours.

Spend a fun half-day trip exploring Siem Reap’s countryside in one of our excellent Army Jeeps. Perfect for the adventurous individual or group. Travel military-style around the countryside and stop at several places to discover local culture.

Complimentary cold towels and iced bottled water are available in the vehicle. Guests can bring snacks and drinks to consume in the vehicle. An English-speaking guide is included. Each jeep can accommodate 3 passengers.

Morning Itinerary

  • Wat Svay Romeat
    Also known as Svay Ramiet, the pagoda is on the south edge of West Baray, just to the North of the airport. The pagoda stands on a small hill and overlooks West Baray. It is the home of numerous young monks.
  • West Baray
    Drive around West Baray and stop to take photographs
  • Crocodile Farm
    Continue West to one of many crocodile farms, which rear crocodiles for their skins but also for meat.
  • Siem Reap Province
    Continue to a rice making community and see the various stages of rice production.
  • Angkor Silk Farm
    Continue further to Angkor Silk farm where guests can spend an extended time see everything from plants and worms to silk products.

Afternoon Itinerary

  • Phsar Leu Thom Thmey
    Also known as Top Market, guests can see where locals negotiate and haggle for their daily food needs, buy/sell gold, clothing, and electrical goods.
  • Khnar Chas Road
    Exiting the Phsar Leu area by the back road, we go to visit Chreav village via the countryside road. Then we stop at a traditional farm and house.
  • Wat Pren
    Continue West towards town and stop at Wat Pren pagoda, with its numerous stupas. The pagoda is renowned for caring for all types of injured animals, including cats and dogs.
  • Phnom Kroam Area
    Hurrying on, we head for Phnom Kroam mountain, a popular spot to enjoy the sunset around the Phnom Kroam area.
